“Ma, Can I Be a Feminist and Still Like Men?” (Coda)
This isn’t a proper post—that’ll go up later tonight, or tomorrow—but I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your overwhelmingly positive response to “Ma, Can I Be a Feminist and Still Like Men?” I tend to brace myself for the worst possible reactions, and I was thoroughly prepared to be lambasted as a bad feminist and queer; a hypocrite; a liar; a fake. Instead, you responded with respectful, direct questions and a lot of positive feedback, and instead of paranoid and prickly, I am all warm and fuzzy. Sometimes I forget how hard people can rock and how willing they can be to listen without judging. Thanks for the much-needed reminder.
