Five short items
1. Opening weeks of semester are somewhat more of a time sink than I remembered, and I remember them being a giant time sink. Back soon, I guess…
2. Blue Beetles! OMG! Much love for the Boostle in Booster Gold #0, and Blue Beetle III being awesome. Minor spoilerific gripe at the end of the issue of Blue Beetle 22(ish), but, I will wait for next issue to confirm hypothesis rather than complaining first. I suspect a plot twist.

4. As I happen to be teaching Consumer Behaviour this semester, I’ve come across a few explanation of purchase decisions. I’ll try to contextualise them to comic book buying over the next few weeks. Suffice to say, I think there’s something in the model set that can neatly behead the hybra of “But if you don’t like X, go make your own comics” idea.
5. Is anyone else cheering for the Skrulls? I mean, really, I want the big reveal to be that there’s five, maybe six, humans on the ENTIRE OF EARTH 616. Everyone else is a skrull. All skrull, all the time. MORE SKRULLS MEANS MORE HUMAN
